Brief overview

Hey there! That’s me on the left in the adjacent photo with my good friend, Anu (who also happens to be a fellow design nerd).

As a senior designer and front-end developer living in the DC metro area, I’m ever-excited about all things creative and problem/solution driven (I also have more than 15 years of project management experience).

In my previous roles, I learned how to be a leader and established a collaborative environment where creativity thrived by giving my junior designer and other colleagues the autonomy to generate ideas while also guiding them on conceptual thinking and execution as needed. I welcomed opportunities to mentor others, including presenting on accessibility, conducting quarterly share graphic design reviews/trainings, etc.

I feel that I’m a rare breed in that I not only design, but I can also code the front-end of my Photoshop or Figma comps. I love getting my hands dirty in CSS/Sass and HTML, and I’m always eager to learn more.

As far as the rest of my activities are concerned, I enjoy music more than most (Fleet Foxes, Kacey Musgraves, Tennis, Empress Of, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Eisley, Interpol, David Bowie, and on and on), interior design, and old 70s horror movies. Plus, I love sloths and Golden Retrievers!
