Been doing some research on T+C for a trip this summer and it brought me to your blog. Love the photos! Mind if I ask where you stayed or if you have any suggestions?? PS. I’m a DC girl too :)
Hey KB! Thanks for looking at my pix and leaving a comment! It was such a great trip. We stayed at a small whimsical 2 story hotel called Sibonne: http://sibonne.com/ It was just what we wanted and kept us away from the dirty and noisy party crowd and families staying at the all-inclusives down the beach. Plus it was cheaper. This is right in the heart of Grace Bay beach, and you can really walk everywhere and for everything you need. And they have what we felt was the best eats in that area of the island at Bay Bistro which is adjoined to the hotel. Be sure to make a reservation sometime earlier in the day!
There’s not tons to *do* in TC aside from enjoying the sun, playing in the water…bring a good book :) We did get amazing massages at Point Grace a few hotels over and also tried para-sailing. Watch out for any creepy para-sailing guys pestering you! It’s okay to be assertive and tell them to leave you alone.
