As I type alone from my new bedroom in my new apartment with the sounds of my new roommate’s hound intermittently howling in the background downstairs because she is the most pathetic, annoying, ridiculous dog I have ever met, I am going to take a moment or two to reflect on all the things that have happened this year. In short, of course (idea via Little Paper Planes).

I think this is the first new year’s eve i have ever been completely alone. usually i’ve stayed up with my parents at home or with my boyfriend. these days, however, ronnie and i are just friends and my parents are in SC. I opted to let my roomie go out with some new people she met on her own as I am tired of the cold, it didn’t sound that amazing, and I just feel kinda blah. let us begin.
