“…My rags of heart can like, wish, and adore,
But after one such love, can love no more.” It seems the “Broken Heart” will be your only feeling, but you will rebound! Give everything a chance! :)
You do have much going for you; way to look at the positive side!
I had forgotten about the ice cream stop on the way home! What a fun memory. Thanks for reminding me.
Mrs. Usery retired two years ago. Clarksville High School faculty has changed quite a bit. Mr. Masters is now in med school. Ms. Heather Farris got married and moved to Bentonville to teach. Mrs. Jones is now a widow and retired. Mr. Wyatt has an assistant principal. Mrs. Hartlein retired. Mrs. Bomar moved because her husband was transferred. Mrs. Martin is now Mrs. Jacobs and is a curriculum coordinator at Russellville. We now have new band directors and choir directors too. Mrs. Pitts is not the counselor; she is the district test coordinator and helps the new counselor, Mrs. Johnson. BUT Mr. King is still there telling the same jokes.
Other than school, my family has grown too. My eldest daughter is a sophomore at University of Central Arkansas majoring in pre-dental, and my youngest is a freshman at the junior high. Time flies!
How cool that you have your own blog. You were always an incredible writer.
